The Office of Economic and Workforce Development assists San Francisco employers in attracting, growing and retaining a diverse workforce. Our Employer Services team provides support services to ensure the long-term prosperity of both workers and employers in San Francisco. We provide employers a pipeline to talented candidates, access to recruitment resources at no cost, and assistance in promoting jobs to thousands of job seekers and to over 120 workforce organizations throughout San Francisco.
The First Source Hiring Program requires that developers, contractors, and employers utilize good faith efforts toward employing economically disadvantaged San Franciscan residents for entry-level positions on applicable projects.
